Deputies search for suspect in shooting

Deputies with the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a
shooting at the home of Kendrick Armstrong located at 114 Fleming Road in
Gaffney.
When deputies arrived they discovered that a black male broke into the home
and robbed Kendrick Armstrong after shooting his brother, 20 year old Furman
Scott Armstrong. Furman Armstrong died as a result of the shooting.
The suspect fled in an unknown type vehicle with loud mufflers with an
undisclosed amount of money after the shooting .
No one else at the residence was hurt. A composite drawing of the suspect is
above.
