Charges not filed in shooting

A Blacksburg man will not be charged with shooting a juvenile on January 10 while the juvenile was trying to steal his dog.

The Seventh Circuit Solicitor's Office will not prosecute Matthew Martin of 292 Bluebird Lane in Blacksburg. Martin shot a juvenile who was trying to steal his dog on the night of January 10th.

The juvenile will be charged with Trespassing and Pettit Larceny, along with another juvenile.

Also, Mario Jaquea Wilson, age 18, of Mountain View Apartments in Blacksburg has been charged with two counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
