Three arrested after 5 hour manhunt
 
 Friday afternoon at 6:15pm, a homeowner on Mulberry Rd. came home and discovered a red Jeep Cherokee parked behind his house. The homeowner confronted a black male after seeing a window had been opened.
 
 The male subject jumped back into the Jeep where two black females were waiting. The homeowner fired at the subject while they were leaving.
 
 The Jeep ran into a ditch in the front yard and all three suspects exited the Jeep when one of the females fired at the homeowner, hitting the homeowner's truck. They fled on foot into a nearby wooded area. The Jeep was reported stolen from Georgia.
 
 Officers from the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, Cleveland County Sheriff's Office and a helicopter from the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office, responded to the scene.
 
 The Bloodhound Tracking Team, accompanied by the SERT team, tracked all three suspects for over four hours before locating them at 11:20pm under a bridge on I-85.
 
 The females were taken into custody there while the male suspect fled. SERT team officers pursued him on foot onto 1-85 in and out of southbound traffic before capturing him in a field off Roark Rd.
 
 Detective Captain Mike Fowlkes has charged the following suspects;
 
 Shaquana Denise Rice, age 18
 Unknown Address in Spartanburg SC
 
 Burglary 1st Degree
 Resisting Arrest
 Assault with Intent to Kill
 Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
 Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Violent Crime
 
 Teirrta S. Mallory, age 18
 1032 Howard St. Spartanburg SC
 
 Burglary 1st Degree
 Resisting Arrest
 Assault with Intent to Kill
 Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
 Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Violent Crime
 
 Robert Dale Brown, age 22
 Unknown Address
 
 Burglary 1st Degree
 Resisting Arrest
 Assault with Intent to Kill
 Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
 Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Violent Crime
 
 Brown is also wanted for probation violations.
 
 Over thirty officers were involved in the manhunt which lasted for five hours.
 
 All three suspects are in the detention center awaiting bond hearings.
