Georgia Truck Driver Facing Charges

A Georgia truck driver reported on May 9, 2007 that he was robbed and assaulted by two black males while parked at the I-85 exit 102. Further investigation revealed Jaime Lorne, age 44 of Blairsville Ga. had a prostitute in his truck at the Wilco Truck Plaza in Grover, SC when an altercation occurred. Both the prostitute and Lorne received injuries. After the prostitute ran from the truck, Lorne left the Wilco Plaza and drove to the 102 exit and called 911 and reported that he had been robbed and assaulted.

Lorne, who is a transient truck driver is expected to be arrested within the next few days and charged with Filing a False Police Report and Assault and Battery of a High and Nature. The prostitute will also be charged with Solicitation and will be brought from NC where she lives.
