53 illegal video gaming machines seized

 

Sheriff's Deputies along with Agents from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division seized 53 illegal video gaming machines on December 13.

One machine was seized from the 2nd Hand Store located at 778 Hampshire Drive in Gaffney. 

Deputies charged Buddy D. Therrell, age 45, of 120 Pauline Drive, lot 2, Gaffney with Possession of Illegal Gaming Machines connected to that location.

Deputies also seized nineteen illegal gaming machines from Ramsey and Ramsey's Construction located at 1252 Overbrook Drive in Gaffney.

Deputies executed a Search Warrant on Good Times Games located at 300 Huntington Road in Gaffney and seized one illegal machine and eighteen illegal circuit boards.

Timothy Scott Guthrie, age 44, of 101 Thompson Street was charged with Possession of Illegal Gaming Machines located at the Huntington Road location.

Deputies also found thirty-two illegal gaming machines located in a truck on Orchard Hill Drive near Cowpens. The truck is owned by Good Times Games.

Kevin Wade Lemmons, age 27, of 126 Orchard Hill Drive, Cowpens, has been charged with Possession of Illegal Gaming Machines in connection with the truck.

All four subjects turned themselves in on December 13 at the Cherokee County Detention Center where bond was set.

Detective Joey Guyton from the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office Metro Narcotics Division signed the arrest warrants.
