Homeland Security grant to purchase new mobile command post

Cherokee County was awarded a Homeland Security grant to purchase a new mobile command / communications post.

The grant will allow for purchase of the new vehicle after all specifications and bids on the project are accepted. The vehicle will be available for any major incident  and will be utilized by all public safety agencies in Cherokee County.
